This ensemble brings together decades of mastery within the Belgian and Irish folk traditions.

Thierry Masure leads the way on the fiddle, blending Belgian technical precision with a deep, lived-in knowledge of Irish traditional music.

He is joined by his brother, Philip Masure, a world-renowned guitarist and producer known as the "King of DADGAD" for his innovative open-tuning accompaniment.

Gary Duffy is a highly respected figure in the Irish traditional music scene, best known for his driving, rhythmic style and technical mastery of the wooden flute and tin whistle. Hailing from County Louth, Duffy’s playing is deeply rooted in the crisp, energetic traditions of the Irish north-east. Duffy remains a sought-after collaborator and a staple of the Belfast session scene, revered for maintaining the "soul" of the tune while pushing its rhythmic boundaries.

Rounding out the group is John Linden, a veteran of the session scene whose rhythmic drive on the whistle and percussion provides the essential pulse for the trio's high-energy sets. Together, they deliver a powerful, authentic sound that bridges the gap between mainland Europe and the west of Ireland.
