Johnny Irion

Johnny Irion is a celebrated American roots, folk-rock, and Americana singer-songwriter rooted in a rich lineage of music and storytelling (he is also famously connected to the American folk royalty tradition through his past work with Sarah Lee Guthrie, granddaughter of Woody Guthrie, and family ties to author John Steinbeck). Irion cut his teeth in early punk and rock bands before carving out a distinct voice defined by warm Laurel Canyon-esque harmonies, stellar guitar work, and deeply textured songwriting.
