The Carpenter, also known as Mike, is a Folk, Pop, Country, Singer-songwriter from the south of the Netherlands.

With his singles "Carolina," "Wake Me Up" and "Eight Mountains High" he managed to put himself on the musical map in 2023. With the release of his debut album "Salvation"

In 2024, he continues to expand his musical horizons. Influenced by a variety of musicians ( Bob Dylan, Jackson Brown, Neil Young, John Mayer)
he developed his love for music on a early age. Listening to the classic artists on the back of his dads truck, humming along to the radio.

Mike takes his inspiration from his day-to-day life and the world around him and his own struggles. After fighting addiction he’s living a clean life now, ready to perform and entertain you with his songs.

The Carpenter, ook wel bekend als Mike, is een  Folk, Pop, Country, Singer-songwriter uit het zuiden van Nederland.

Met zijn singles ‘Carolina’, ‘Wake Me Up’ en ‘Eight Mountains High’ wist hij zichzelf in 2023 op de muzikale kaart te zetten. Met de release van zijn debuutalbum ‘Salvation’.

In 2024 blijft hij zijn muzikale horizon verbreden. Beïnvloed door verschillende artiesten (Bob Dylan, Jackson Brown, Neil Young, John Mayer) ontwikkelde hij al op jonge leeftijd zijn liefde voor muziek. Hij luisterde naar deze artiesten achter in de vrachtwagen van zijn vader en neuriede mee met de radio.

Mike haalt zijn inspiratie uit zijn dagelijkse leven, de wereld om hem heen en zijn eigen struggles. Nadat hij zijn verslaving heeft overwonnen, leidt hij nu een schoon leven, klaar om op te treden en je te vermaken met zijn liedjes.
