The Western Fusiliers

Formed in 2024, The Western Fusiliers are a dynamic trio of seasoned traditional musicians who bring energy, authenticity, and a deep-rooted passion for Irish music to every performance.

Noel & Dee Maguire, brothers hailing from County Fermanagh, were immersed in traditional music from a young age, learning their craft from their father. Noel has become a familiar and respected figure on the Belfast music scene, while Dee is now based in Liverpool, where he regularly performs across the vibrant local circuit.

James Carson, a talented banjo player from Belfast, began playing traditional music at the age of 11. His musical journey has taken him across Europe and America, and he remains an active presence in sessions and gigs throughout Ireland and beyond.
