Jude Scott – Flute

A rising star in the Irish traditional music scene, Jude Scott hails from Belfast and has been immersed in music since childhood. He began his journey at the Glengormley School of Traditional Music, mastering the tin whistle by age 13 and later expanding into the traditional Irish flute and Uilleann pipes. Jude has studied under some of Ireland’s finest musicians, including Kevin Crawford, Harry Bradley, and Brian Finnegan.

His performance résumé includes appearances at prestigious events like the Gradam Ceol Awards on TG4, Electric Picnic, and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Philadelphia. Jude has also shared the stage with legends such as Mike McGoldrick and Mary Bergin as part of Flutopia, and is a key member of the Duncairn Trad Irish Music Collective. Currently studying Music and Audio Production at Queen’s University Belfast, Jude is deeply committed to preserving and promoting Belfast’s unique flute-playing tradition.

Martin Scott – Guitar

Martin brings a rich guitar accompaniment rooted in traditional Irish rhythm and harmony, possibly blending folk, acoustic, and contemporary textures. His role as guitarist would be essential in anchoring the melodic interplay between flute and fiddle, providing both rhythmic drive and harmonic depth.


Phil Acheson – Fiddle

Phil Acheson is a dynamic fiddle player and multi-instrumentalist known for his genre-crossing creativity. Based in Belfast, Phil is a founding member of Le Chéile, a trio that fuses traditional Irish tunes with funk, afrobeat, and jazz fusion. His bass and fiddle work reflect a deep understanding of Irish music traditions while embracing modern grooves and global influences.

Phil is a regular performer in Belfast’s vibrant trad scene, including sessions at Maddens Bar and appearances at TradFest Festival Club. His musical versatility and collaborative spirit make him a standout figure in the new wave of Irish fusion artists.
