Corcel Mágico

Indie Folk band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Corcel Mágico is an indie folk band formed by brothers Vinicius and Dênis Pavani. The band draws strong influences from America's Deep South genres like country and folk, bringing themes of daily life into their compositions, inviting listeners to live a lighter life, sincere and having courage to change.

The name came up during the first rehearsals that sometimes extended until dawn and always ended with some friends who would turn up with a few beers; one of them had an old car called Corcel 2, thus making the nights "magical".

With three EP's released. The banjo is the band's signature sound, giving the songs a chylum that inspires one to live, drefen and believe; feel happiness, joy and hope.

In December 2021 Corcel Mágico leaves to the USA with the project "Folk Station", a live format, intending to perform at subway stations and different locations in New York, which received great feedback, not only from the locals but from people from all over the world. In 2023, they finally got the authorization of MUNY (Music Under New York) to play in the subway in New York, passing through a disputed selection where judges choose from hundreds of artists from around the world.

And in September 2024 they embarked on their first Europe tour crossing 5 countries and 10 cities spreading their magic across the old continent.
